Terms of Service

1. Who we are & acceptance
MoneySkins ("the Service") is operated by The Global Paradise LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) and legally able to enter a binding contract. You agree to comply with the Steam Subscriber Agreement and all laws that apply to you. The Service is not available where it is prohibited by law, and you confirm you are not subject to any applicable sanctions or prohibited-persons list.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Steam account and verify an email address and phone number before you can trade. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for all activity under your account. You may hold one account, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it current.
4. What MoneySkins is (and isn't)
MoneySkins is a peer-to-peer marketplace that lets users buy and sell in-game items. Trades take place between users, and we are not the buyer or seller and are not a party to any trade. Items are transferred through Steam's trading system. We provide the wallet, the listing and matching tools, and hold buyer funds while a trade completes.
5. Wallet, deposits & fees
Wallet balances are held in US dollars. You add funds to your wallet through our third-party payment provider. When you buy an item, the purchase amount is held from your available balance until the trade completes or is cancelled. On a completed sale, MoneySkins charges a platform fee of 2.5% of the sale price, and the remainder is credited to the seller. Applicable fees are shown before you confirm a transaction.
6. Buying
When you buy an item, your funds are held while the seller delivers it through Steam within the posted time windows. If the seller does not accept or send the item in time, the purchase is automatically cancelled and the held funds are returned to your wallet balance. Once a trade completes, the purchase is final.
7. Selling
When you list an item, you agree to deliver it through Steam, to the matched buyer only, within the posted time windows once a purchase is made. Failing to deliver may result in cancellation, loss of the sale, and action on your account. You must own each item you list and have the right to sell it.
8. Withdrawals
You may request a withdrawal of your available balance. Withdrawals are reviewed and approved manually and paid through our supported payout method. We may hold, review, or decline a withdrawal where we reasonably suspect fraud, a chargeback risk, or a breach of these Terms, or where required by law. We do not guarantee a specific payout time.
9. Refunds & cancellations
Refunds for cancelled or failed trades are returned to your MoneySkins wallet balance, not to your original payment method. Once a trade completes it cannot be reversed or refunded. Adding funds to your wallet is a deposit and is not, by itself, refundable to your card.
10. Chargebacks & payment disputes
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute on funds you have deposited or spent is a breach of these Terms. If you do, we may freeze your account, recover the disputed amount from your balance (which may result in a negative balance), and suspend your access until the matter is resolved. If a payment dispute is later resolved in your favor, we will reverse any related adjustment.
11. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to commit fraud or scams; use stolen items, accounts, or payment methods; manipulate prices or the marketplace; circumvent fees or arrange off-platform trades initiated through the Service; operate multiple accounts; use bots or automated tools other than our official trade helper; or harass other users. We may remove listings and take account action for any of these.
12. Steam dependency
Trades rely on Steam. Steam may impose trade holds, escrow periods, or downtime that are outside our control. We are not responsible for delays, holds, or losses caused by Steam, by your Steam settings, or by sending the wrong item.
13. Suspension & termination
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, chargebacks, or as required by law. Balances associated with fraud or an unresolved dispute may be withheld pending review.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that an item will sell or that a specific item will be available to buy, and item prices are set by users and fluctuate. Nothing on the Service is investment advice.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Global Paradise LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the total fees you paid us in the three months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify The Global Paradise LLC against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The Global Paradise LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence continue to apply.
